• - Improvement of the operational stability and resilience of the Allianz Global Network (AGN) and its monitoring stacks (observability, alerting).
• - Implementation and integration of various monitoring and observability tools for system performance analysis.
• - Development of machine learning–based solutions for anomaly detection.
• - Evaluation and rollout of a Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solution, including proof of concept and pilot phase for a large user base.
• - Development of automation solutions to optimize operational and support processes.
• - Creation of disaster recovery documentation and technical architecture diagrams.
• - Support during critical incidents (root cause analysis) and active participation in task forces and war rooms for rapid issue resolution

Network & Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• - Planning and implementation of global IT projects according to project management standards
• - Maintenance, Operation and further development of LAN and WAN Infrastructure (International and National)
• - operation of the global firewall and VPN infrastructure
• - Operation of our local and global private-cloud Datacenters

• - Industry-related experience as a Network and Security Engineer (planning, implementation and operation of complex IT network infrastructures )
• - specialized IT knowhow with focus on data centers, networking, security and Cloud Services (MS Azure)
• - Very good network knowledge in the LAN / WAN / VPN / WiFi (Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Aruba )
• - Experience with Cluster Virtualization based on Hyper V / ESXI and Web technologies (http / HTTPS)
• - Very Good knowledge of Linux, Microsoft Server 2012/2016/2019, Active Directory, basic architectures (DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP)
• - Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (Netflow,Wireshark,Nagios,SCCM,..)
